If you currently contribute to the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA), you will have an opportunity to change your election for the remainder of the year.
Because the COVID-19 crisis is impacting employees’ day care needs, Employee Benefit Services is offering DCFSA participants a one-month window – Tuesday, March 31 - April 30 – to increase, decrease or discontinue your DCFSA contributions. Any contribution changes made during this window will be effective April 1.
Follow these steps to make a change:
1. Visit MNPSBenefits.org/employee.
2. Click Benefit Express enrollment login.
3. Log on to Benefit Express.
4. At your homepage, click the “Enroll Now” button in the yellow Status Change Enrollment bar, and follow the prompts to make your changes.
This special enrollment period only applies to the Dependent Care FSA.
